Another beautiful mixed-media image, the artist painted the wings of the butterflies with watercolors in rose and pale pink. The extended features of the butterflies are painted in dark brown, but interestingly, the body of the butterfly is scratched in with an inking pen. If you look closely at it, you’ll see the rough-hewn lines that form the body.
